Pre-Order Spotlight: L.E. Wilson Precision Arbor Press

Precision seating is where great handloads are won. The new L.E. Wilson Precision Arbor Press, now available for pre-order, was engineered from the ground up to give discerning handloaders repeatable control, superb “feel,” and bench-friendly ergonomics. It’s purpose-built to complement L.E. Wilson Inline Bullet Seating Dies (widely regarded as the gold standard for precision) while remaining compatible with other brands’ hand-style seaters. It also works seamlessly with neck sizing dies with interchangeable bushings, punches & bases for separate decapping, and for pressing cases in and out of holders used on Wilson Case Trimmers.

Why a Reloading Arbor Press Belongs on a Precision Bench

A central pivot mechanism drives a smooth 90-degree cam-over arc, giving you leverage right where it counts, at the end of the stroke. That cam-over “feel” makes it easier to sense neck tension consistency, seat bullets squarely, and keep runout low. There’s ample adjustment range to cover everything from small .17-caliber seaters up to large cartridges like .408 CheyTac, so one compact press can handle your precision lineup.

Built for Real-World Workflows

The press’s V-channel guide rail prevents unwanted upward movement during operation, yet allows easy micro-adjustments to height. Pair it with L.E. Wilson Inline Bullet Seating Dies for ultra-consistent seating depth control; use neck sizing dies with bushings to dial in neck tension; add punches & bases to decap as a separate, clean operation; and press cases in/out of Wilson Case Holders when you’re prepping brass for the Wilson Case Trimmer.

Quick Setup & Repeatability

Rough-in height using the seven inches of adjustment and six-inch reference scale, leave enough travel to use the press’s full 1? throw, and run a few test rounds to confirm COAL/CBTO. The cam-over stop gives you a clear end-of-stroke signal that supports the same seating feel round after round.
