CLICK HERE: HARDENED PISTOL HOLDER INSTRUCTIONS
L.E. Wilson Hardened Pistol Case Holders are engineered for fired, straight-walled pistol cases that have little to no body taper. Constructed much like a neck-sizing die, each holder positively captures the case for precise trimming. Because pistol brass is pressed into and driven out of the holder (rather than “bumped” like many rifle cases), the process can be slower, but it delivers very uniform case length for consistent, clean crimps.
.38 Special, .38 Super Auto, .357 Magnum, .44 Special, .44 Magnum, .40 S&W, .45 Auto, .45 Colt, and 10mm Auto.

These hardened pistol case holders are for fired cases with minimal body taper. They capture the case like a neck-sizing die for precise trimming.
No. Pistol cases are pressed in with a light arbor press or mallet and then driven or pushed out after trimming.
The capture design requires press-in/drive-out steps, but the payoff is highly uniform length and more consistent crimps.
Some pistol cases have more body taper or different dimensions. Check our Case Holders page or contact us for the correct holder.
